Use of Track-and-Trace Technologies to increase Supply Chain Security.

The FDA is seeking the expanded Use of Track-and-Trace Technologies to increase global Supply Chain Security. Working to facilitate the adoption of track-and-trace technologies the FDA wants to identify and track a product along the product life-cycle and facilitate the timely recovery of violative products, reduce the opportunity for harm and secure the integrity of the supply chain. The use of advanced track-and-trace technologies will give FDA the ability to connect the dots and link important life-cycle information back to the point-of-origin.
